Light of the World- Lumière du Monde

Matt. 25:1  “The Kingdom of Heaven at that time will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.

The word "oil" in Hebrew is "shemen" that shares the same root as "shmoneh" that means "eight". The number eight represents the World to Come in Judaism. As the wise braidesmaids, let's get ready for the World to come.

Matt. 25:1  Alors le royaume des cieux sera semblable à dix vierges qui, ayant pris leurs lampes, allèrent à la rencontre de l’époux.

Le mot "huile en hébreu "shemen" partage la même racine que le mot "huit, shmoneh". Le chiffre huit, dans le Judaïsme, représente le Monde à venir. Soyons comme des vierges sages qui s'apprêtent pour le Monde à venir.
